Here’s how I can help . . .

When dealing with emotionally-charged problems, we need to learn how to effectively respond to difficult feelings and uncomfortable thoughts.

We need to learn how to take back control of our lives in spite of our anxieties, so we can continue to work on being the person we want to be.

Using a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, as well as various mindfulness and meditation techniques, I help people appreciate life in a brighter light and approach everyday situations from a more productive and peaceful headspace.

Workplace Anxiety

Do you find that work is going great and there doesn’t seem to be a problem, but you’re just feeling low and you’re having trouble finding meaning and value in what you’re doing? Maybe it feels like you’re simply going nowhere in life.

Or do you find it difficult to get organized and be productive? Do you feel like you’re doing too much work and not enough at the same time, and always feeling stressed about your deadlines?

Even though it might feel like it, these anxious feelings that make it difficult for you to advocate for yourself are not uncommon among young professionals. As a team, I can help you learn how to better take stock, take responsibility, and take control of the work you are doing—so that you can feel genuinely confident about what you bring to the table.

Relationship Difficulties

Relationships . . . right?!

Relationship difficulties are vast and varied—getting caught in a cycle of pointless dates; going through a rough patch with your partner; constantly trying to become someone else just to impress a potential partner or a significant other.

When this happens, instead of feeling powerless, there are things that we can do to help you make constructive, empowering choices, and to move in a direction that strengthens your relationships. During therapy, we will, as partners, go over real-world tools and real-time strategies that you can use to develop the self-awareness, confidence, and commitment that are necessary to form strong, loving, and lasting relationships.

Generalized Anxiety

Are you always obsessively worrying about everything in your everyday life? Are you having a difficult time finding meaning and value in what you’re doing? Are you so uncomfortable in your own skin that you feel the need to put on a false mask of happiness when you’re with family, friends, and other people? It rarely matters whether life is easy or tough, whether you’re having a good day or a bad day, the truth about anxiety is that it doesn’t discriminate—it  just goes after and latches on to any feelings of vulnerability or insecurity that we all have. That’s what makes anxiety disorders very common. Fortunately, anxiety disorders, common as they are, are also extremely manageable and treatable. Through highly personalized counseling and psychotherapy I can help you quiet down the noise of anxiety so it doesn’t get in your way.
